fugitive radio is an artistic-research project exploring post-internet radio as a counter-culture to corporate social media. It was initiated by Sumugan Sivanesan in 2020 with Pixelache Helsinki with funding from Kone Foundation. Its numerous activities have since received support from Creative Australia, Goethe Institute and Jan van Eyck Academy among others. It is part of lumbung radio initiated for documenta fifteen (2022). Since 2021 it has broadcast a monthly podcast “fugitive frequency” with Colaboradio on Freie Radios Berlin-Brandenburg.
